THIEF ALERT
- Protects your outside property

- THIEF ALERT is a SILENT alarm which notifies you when a thief is about
- The compact SENSOR unit is placed on the item to be protected
- When the SENSOR is disturbed a radio signal is sent to the ALARM unit
- The ALARM unit in the house sounds when the sensor unit is moved
- Multiple sensors can be used for protecting several buildings
SO YOU ARE IN CONTROL, YOU CAN :-
- Sound the optional external siren to frighten the thief away or
- Carefully investigate yourself (perhaps with a helper) or
- Phone the Police
THIEF ALERT PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING PROTECTION :-
- Sensor unit can be placed on high value item to be protected
- Sensor unit can be mounted onto entry door frame
- Multiple sensors can be used with one ALARM unit
WHEN TRIGGERED THE FOLLOWING HAPPENS :-
- The sounder in the alarm unit sounds for 4 minutes
- The Alarm LED on the alarm unit starts flashing and continues to flash until the alarm unit is turned off, then back on.
- If the optional external siren is plugged in, then it sounds for 4 minutes
BOTH SENSOR & ALARM UNITS ARE CONTROLLED BY A SIMPLE KEY
THE STARTER PACK CONSISTS OF :-

- One Alarm unit
- One Charger unit (for the alarm unit)

Additional sensor units can be supplied for additional protection as can external sirens or bell boxes
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Decide whether to simply place the sensor unit onto the item to be protected or whether to mount it onto the entry door frame. The sensor must be placed on a level surface. If mounting onto a door frame firstly ensure that the magnet can be mounted on the door so that it is within 3 to 5mm of the side of the sensor with the reed switch in it when the door is closed. Do not over tighten fixing screws but ensure that there is not excessive play. We recommend mounting on the hinge side of the door. Please refer to the diagram in the Instruction Leaflet supplied with the product.

Decide where to position the alarm unit in the house. Plug the plug top power supply into a 13 A mains socket and plug the flying lead into the 12V socket on the alarm unit. Once the sensor unit has been switched on for over 1 minute switch on the alarm unit with the key.
Now move the sensor unit (or open the door if mounted on the door frame). The alarm unit sounder should now sound for 4 minutes, or until you switch the alarm unit off with the key. The red LED on the alarm unit should flash until the alarm unit is turned off with the key.
